newspaper

today most newspapers are owned by the governments of that country. The freedom of press is therefore not exactly what it is supposed to be. As these newspapers are owned by the government, the government can decide on what should be printed and to what extend an issue is allowed to be printed.
An example of this newspaper would be THE STAR. It is more pro government and therefore puts more positve views on government issues. They report with different effects and enthusiasm on different topics. I belief that this is the case in most countries and newspapers. They focus the light on issues the way the government wants them to.
i prefer readin The Sun newspaper because they keep it short and simple and dont report so much of the political things that tend to be influenced alot. i hope that this will change and that the newspapers will not stay a way to influence people and to be a mode of publication for political views and sides.
